Urban Design S.L. is born out of the need that we presently have in the building construction sector in Spain. The relentless pace of construction in this country has generated a fast and restrictive legislation. This situation puts in checkmate many potential creations, but we believe that there is always a solution.

            This solution is teamwork. A finely tuned and balanced team. With the experience and safety that it has gained from the years, and with the technique and energy that the new professionals can provided. Because of that, our young group of technical architects - engineers and architects - has adopted as a reference the long professional career of Carles Cugat (www.carlescugat.com), as a point of departure of the Urban Design S.L. project.

            The main objective of Urban Design S.L. is to solve all the technical and legal requirements that today requires the development of a project and its performance, regardless of its type and purpose.

            Our offices are located in downtown Barcelona, but our natural work environment is Catalonia. Presently, our most important current work projects are, among others: the revamp of the fishermen’s wharf in the port of Barcelona, the Alexander Metropolitan BCN HoPhone, the Ciudadela building (86 homes in Cambrils), La Voliana Cambrils promotional project (cost efficient homes), etc., etc.
